Med-PC IV options

I am currently using Med Associates hardware and software for several rodent operant chambers with a few simple digital inputs and outputs (lights, levers, feeders, etc.). To operate the chambers we write scripts and compile them for loading via the Med PC software.

I am wondering if there is another way about doing this. Does the software have a DLL or the like with an API to the I/O, so that I can query it in custom software rather than using MedPC? I would only need to be able to toggle the outputs and query the inputs. This would make it infinitely easier to generate custom reports and make small changes to program functionality without recompiling the code or maintaining large banks full of custom scripts.

Does such an interface exist?
