We are using a custom-built apparatus that connects to the computer via USB with 1 output, a Med Associates food hopper, and 10 inputs from infrared beam switches. Our programmer wrote controlling software in Basic and does not know anything about MedPC, but we behavioral scientists only know how to program in MedPC and we want to be able to write and modify our programs. If anyone has any information about interfacing MedPC with non-standard hardware that we can pass on to him, it would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Hi Tim, You could use our software API to talk to Med-PC gear with other languages.

    Please see: https://mednr.com/product/control-of-med-inputoutput-from-other-languages/

You can reach our sales & applications folks at 802-527-2343 for more information.

    Hi Jim,

Thank you for the quick reply! This looks like the tool we need. I will forward the information to our programmer and see what he can do with it.

    Tim
