Output Module for Radial Arm/Elevated Plus Maze

Hello all,

I want to use Synapse software to mark events during an elevated plus maze such as open entries with TTLs. We have an superport input module in the MedPC box for the EPM to record open entries, but we were wondering if we needed a superport output module to send TTL events to Synapse on the computer? And if we need that output module, what sort of further configuration do we need to do to make it work?

I apologize if this doesn’t have enough details to answer, I don’t have enough experience for this. If you have any questions, I’ll answer the best I can.

Yes, you will need a TTL output module and you will need to configure the module in MED-PC and also update the RAM code to turn on those TTL signals during the protocol.
