Hello,
I am having trouble editing the existing FR program in this repository to fit my needs.
I want to have concurrent access to food pellets and liquid sucrose reinforced by both the left and right levers, respectively. I need the right sucrose lever to retract after meeting the response ratio and extend again after the timeout period. I also need the right cue light to perform the same:OFF during the timeout and back ON after. The left food lever should not retract nor should the left cue light ever come on.I also need to have water available and a photobeam lickometer tracking the licks.
I have almost accomplished this with the attached program but have been struggling to make it work.
Also, I have a specific question: How many columns of data can be displayed while running a program (such as responses, rewards, session time etc) I seem to only be able to display 5 at a time.Thank you for your time
Devan

Thank you for your reply.
I actually have it working now and would only need one additional thing added, which is a flush command recording the responses from each input device every 30 minutes (eventually this program will be used for 23 hr access). This would be in addition to the total responses displayed in the show rows. I would also like the data sent to MATLAB and am not sure how to do accomplish this.
I’ve attached the working program to this post.
Thanks again

I updated the program to collect the response data in 30 min bins ( attached ) , I also removed the FLUSH commands making your program save during responses ( not sure why you would do this). I do not know of a way to send data to MATLAB and have no experience with that program.

Thank you again for your reply.
I actually need to use the FLUSH command (or I think I do) to save and record data that I don’t want to print ( as I understand, you must print to visualize an array of data). Ideally, I would like a second tally of the three output devices in addition to the total responses I already have displayed in the SHOW rows. In other words, I would like only the total session responses displayed (to be noted at the end of a session) while a 30 minute FLUSH command would record and save each total only within each half hour, clearing the totals after each 30 min FLUSH. This way I can log the session totals via the Med PC interface screen and the 30 minute totals I can pull up via the hard drive.
I will continue to struggle with this but would greatly appreciate your help again.
Respectfully,
Devan
