I am a passionate young neuroendocrinologist with substantial experience in in vivo basic research on various aspects of hypothalamic regulation of reproductive function, as well as a desire to discover effective, non-invasive treatments targeting neural pathways implicated in metabolic syndrome and obesity. I routinely employ optogenetic, electrophysiological, neuropharmacological and imaging techniques to address functional relationships between hypothalamic neurons, their afferent inputs, and feeding behavior.
